L3Harris brought together two of its cutting-edge platforms in a hybrid strike concept, pairing the long-range Red Wolf munition with the Sky Warden air support system.

The demonstration reportedly highlights the modularity of both platforms and how they can integrate for modern operations involving kinetic strike, electronic warfare, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).

The company envisions the combined concept as a response to growing interest in open, standards-based solutions within the defense sector.

For military forces, the pairing could translate into faster reaction times and safer operations, with Sky Warden delivering effects from a distance.

“Our customers demand a lean, agile aircraft that can fly, take off and land anywhere, anytime, outfitted with a wide range of payloads,” L3Harris ISR, Space and Mission Systems President Jason Lambert said.

“Bringing together Red Wolf and Sky Warden demonstrates the rapid reconfiguration and customization of key L3Harris capabilities.”

Close-Air Support, Multi-Domain Strikes

Built on the Air Tractor 802 airframe, Sky Warden is designed for precision strike and armed ISR missions.

It can connect with joint force networks worldwide in real time, maintaining a small operational footprint and low per-hour flight costs.

Red Wolf, meanwhile, is built to deliver kinetic effects at extended range, with L3Harris offering a reusable variant for mass deployment in contested environments.

It can also be launched alongside its partner system, Green Wolf, which handles complementary roles such as jamming and signal detection.
