New York-based Moog Inc. is betting on a new modular counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) built around a multi-layered engagement suite to fend off evolving aerial threats.
Called Vengeance, the system combines the company’s Flexible Mission Platform with an integrated fire-control system to support rapid detection, targeting, and response in dynamic battlefield environments.
Based on released imagery, it features a central mast equipped with a flat-panel tactical radar topped by an electro-optical and infrared sensor gimbal.
A small whip antenna mounted along the side suggests additional radio-frequency detection or electronic warfare functionality.

The platform also appears configured for multiple engagement options. On one side is a box-shaped multi-tube launcher carrying at least four forward-facing munitions, likely short-range interceptors or guided rockets intended for larger aerial threats.
The opposite side houses a rotary Gatling gun with a flexible ammunition feed system designed for close-range drone defense.
Nearby are two additional cylindrical launch tubes marked with “Remove Before Flight” tags, which may accommodate loitering munitions.
Countering Group 1-3 Drones
According to Moog, Vengeance is designed to support expeditionary and Special Operations Forces in countering low-altitude Group 1-3 drones and other aerial threats.
Mike Gruver, senior vice president at Moog, described the platform as part of the company’s effort to deliver adaptable and mission-ready defense systems.
“This system equips operators with the speed, precision, and flexibility to address today’s increasingly complex and rapidly evolving threat landscape,” he added.
