Military and forensic teams are getting a new option for processing drone imagery, video feeds, and other mission data directly in the field, without relying entirely on remote computing systems.

DT Research’s new LT365PA Rugged Laptop combines NVIDIA graphics with Intel Core Ultra processors to handle demanding AI and image analysis tasks in environments where conventional computers may struggle.

The system is designed for teams that need to examine large amounts of visual information while deployed, including military units, law enforcement agencies, and forensic investigators.

Its capabilities could prove particularly useful in mobile command posts, where operators need to monitor multiple information sources and make decisions without returning to a fixed operations center.

Analysis at the Scene

Forensic investigators often collect high-resolution photographs, video footage, and 3D scans that require significant computing power to process, sometimes forcing teams to wait until they return to a laboratory.

The LT365PA is designed to bring those capabilities directly to the scene, allowing investigators to analyze images and other evidence as it is collected.

Its NVIDIA RTX A2000 or RTX 5000A graphics options support demanding visual processing tasks, including crash reconstruction work that involves documenting vehicle positions and roadway conditions.

Military and emergency response teams can also use the workstation to process information from drones, cameras, and other sensors without depending on continuous cloud connectivity.

This could help mobile command teams maintain a clearer picture of unfolding situations while using tools for mapping, video analysis, and operational planning.

Built for the Field

Beyond its computing capabilities, the LT365PA features a 15.6-inch (39.6-centimeter) touchscreen with up to 1,200 nits of brightness, making its display easier to read in outdoor environments.

The system carries IP65 protection against dust and water and meets MIL-STD-810H environmental standards, while an optional night-vision-compatible display supports low-light military operations.

Two hot-swappable batteries allow users to replace depleted batteries without shutting down the workstation, helping teams maintain operations during extended deployments.

DT Research plans to make the LT365PA available through authorized partners and resellers worldwide in the first quarter of 2027.
