A new unmanned platform is now swimming through Ukrainian waters, built as a multi-purpose solution capable of operating in contested electronic warfare environments.

Crocus Manufacture’s “Lilia” can be assigned to reconnaissance, supply, patrol, and other special missions along Kyiv’s coastlines and river networks.

With an operating range of 80 kilometers (50 miles), the unmanned surface vehicle (USV) is remotely controlled via Starlink or LTE links.

Its modular design allows troops to reconfigure the platform for additional roles, including logistics support, medical evacuation, and engineering tasks such as mining and demining.

The company said the system is intended to integrate into broader military formations as production scales, suggesting a potential role in escorting larger Ukrainian vessels.

Lilia in Ukraine’s Growing Naval Drone Fleet

Lilia has reportedly completed initial field trials with undisclosed units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, demonstrating its ability to operate in real combat conditions.

It is now available on Ukraine’s defense technology marketplace, Brave1.

The USV adds to the country’s expanding portfolio of sea drones, joining the machine gun-equipped Sea Baby and the AI-driven Barracuda boat.

These systems have seen increasing use in Ukraine’s war with Russia, with recent reports indicating sea drones were involved in an attack on a Russian naval base.
