HawkEye 360’s commercial radio frequency (RF) data has been integrated into operational military platforms for the first time, marking a major milestone for the signals intelligence provider.
The integration, conducted with Lockheed Martin’s advanced defense systems, is designed to enable real-time, machine-to-machine data exchange that fuses RF signals with other tactical feeds.
This process converts raw RF detections into actionable surveillance tracks, improving geolocation accuracy, threat tracking, and decision-making across land, air, maritime, space, and cyber domains.
“By integrating HawkEye 360’s RF data into tactical defense systems, we’re accelerating decision advantage across the battlespace,” said Todd Probert, President of US Government at HawkEye 360.
“This is a clear example of how we’re delivering timely, trusted insights that enhance threat tracking and operational awareness.”

Both HawkEye 360 and Lockheed Martin described the capability as “first-of-its-kind,” noting that ease of integration was critical to bringing commercial RF data into combat systems.
Testing Ground
The integration took place during the Talisman Sabre 2025, the largest multi-nation military exercise held in Australia every two years.
The event featured live-fire drills, amphibious landings, ground maneuvers, air combat, and maritime operations, creating a complex and realistic environment for testing joint force operations.
This made it an ideal setting for showcasing HawkEye 360’s real-time RF data integration, giving defense partners a persistent layer of insight into RF activity across critical regions.
The capability also underscored the growing role of commercial intelligence solutions in supporting national security missions and coalition operations.
