Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has lifted the curtain on a multi-mission aircraft that combines long-range intelligence gathering with electronic attack, allowing operators to detect, classify, and disrupt electromagnetic signals.
Named ELLYON, the platform can simultaneously conduct electronic attack and Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) missions.
It integrates signals intelligence, long-range radar, electro-optical sensors, and satellite communications into a single architecture.

An integrated electronic attack suite enables the aircraft to jam both radar and communications systems, supporting operations against airborne and ground-based threats during the same mission.
“IAI has been at the forefront of developing advanced intelligence aircraft, combining technological innovation and operational expertise,” said Boaz Levy, chairman of IAI board.
“ELLYON continues this legacy by integrating advanced intelligence collection, electronic attack and AI-driven mission management into a single platform, providing a decisive operational advantage in evolving battlespace.”

Based on the Bombardier Global 6500 business jet, ELLYON can operate at altitudes of up to 40,000 feet (12,192 meters).

It also features a self-protection suite with threat detection, warning systems, and electronic countermeasures.
The aircraft is equipped with an AI-powered mission management system that fuses data from onboard sensors, generates mission assessments, and shares information in real time with command centers, ground stations, and other aircraft.
According to Dror Bar, chief executive officer of ELTA Systems and executive vice president of IAI, the platform is designed to shorten intelligence-to-action cycles and improve operations in demanding environments.
“ELLYON represents a technological leap forward, combining stand-off operations with the ability to sense, understand, and shape the electromagnetic battlespace,” he added.
