Human troops could soon take a backseat in complex strike missions, with commanders deploying fleets of unmanned systems using only voice commands.

This is made possible by Scout AI’s Fury Autonomous Vehicle Orchestrator, which translates high-level intent into executable autonomous actions for both ground and aerial unmanned systems.

Fury verifies mission plans before assigning roles to each deployed asset. Then, it monitors their progress and adjusts tasks as needed.

The system essentially coordinates an entire fleet of ground vehicles and drones while tracking mission priorities and generating post-mission reports for commanders to review.

“AI agents are becoming mainstream in the digital world, we’re bringing that same agentic intelligence into the physical world for the US warfighter,” said Colby Adcock, co-founder and chief executive officer of Scout AI.

“Fury Orchestrator acts as the AI interoperability layer between [command-and-control] systems and heterogeneous unmanned assets across domains. It keeps the human at the center, and enables coordinated mass and force projection against our adversaries.”

After confirming human-issued orders, the system deployed multiple unmanned ground vehicles to maneuver into hidden positions.

Drones launched from the vehicles scouted for the target, sharing sensor data and coordinating autonomously.

Once the target was located, one drone moved in for the kill, while another provided overwatch and generated a post-mission report.

“The result is as simple as it is impactful: one software layer that can run mixed fleets, work in degraded comms, deploy at the edge, and scale across all domains,” the company stated.
