A new flight control computer from Spanish firm Embention is designed to give one-way attack drones greater autonomy while carrying out missions in GPS-denied environments.
Showcased at MSPO 2026, the Veronte KAI 2.0 weighs just 190 grams (6.7 ounces) and is roughly the size of a standard deck of playing cards.
It uses a three-layer positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) architecture with configurable modules, allowing integrators to tailor its flight-control setup to different mission requirements.

According to Embention, its inertial measurement unit can withstand forces of up to 40 g and rotational rates reaching 2,000 degrees per second.
AI-powered computer vision and terminal guidance help the drone maintain accuracy when Global Navigation Satellite System signals are unavailable.
The integrated PNT suite can also draw positioning data from low Earth orbit satellites and 4G cellular networks.
In terms of endurance, the computer operates on up to 54 volts of direct current and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to 60 degrees Celsius (-40 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit).
Scaling Up Production
Embention has streamlined the device’s design for high-volume manufacturing through automated testing and customized wiring.
The approach is intended to reduce assembly time, accelerate production, and maintain consistent quality across units.

The company said the system complies with US National Defense Authorization Act and Blue Unmanned Aircraft Systems requirements, potentially simplifying its acquisition and integration.
Manufacturing is available in Spain, the United Arab Emirates, and the US to meet different sovereign procurement requirements.
