Israel is shrinking border surveillance into a pocket-sized drone that can navigate without GPS.

The new ERE95 Mini from CopterPIX is built to roam and protect the country’s borders without adding extra strain on troops in the field.

It can stay aloft for two hours, using daylight and thermal imaging to spot and track potential incursions or suspicious activities.

The drone’s GNSS-resilient design keeps it flying in GPS-denied zones, while a long-range, anti-jamming link maintains control up to 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) from its operator.

Customizable with optical and mission-specific payloads, the ERE95 can lift up to 5 kilograms (11 pounds) for an hour, giving it flexibility to adapt to surveillance, reconnaissance, or rapid-response missions.

Compact, Foldable Kit

CopterPIX highlighted the ERE95 Mini’s portability.

Its foldable frame collapses into a backpack, letting troops carry other equipment without sacrificing aerial coverage,

The drone made its debut at the 2025 Dronetech in Tel Aviv.
