Oshkosh Defense is leaning into modular, fast-integrating battlefield systems, unveiling two integrated platforms that pack multi-domain power and autonomy into a single capability.

The systems were showcased at the Association of the US Army Global Force Symposium, held from March 24 to 26 in Huntsville, Alabama.

Silent, Covert Carrier

At the center is the Light Multi-Mission Autonomous Vehicle (L-MAV), a carrier platform designed to support a range of missions, including counter-drone operations, electronic warfare, and tactical resupply.

It is an evolution of the ROGUE-Fires vehicle currently in service with the US Marine Corps, now featuring an open architecture to support the rapid integration of additional mission payloads.

According to the company, L-MAV is positioned for lower-signature ground operations, thanks to its hybrid-electric powertrain that enables silent watch and movement while enhancing fuel efficiency.

‘Shoot-and-Scoot’ Cannon

The second solution pairs Oshkosh’s Mobile Artillery Platform with Elbit America’s SIGMA system, creating a 10×10 mobile cannon built for “shoot-and-scoot” operations.

Designed for off-road mobility, the platform can carry heavy payloads and adapt to evolving long-range munitions, offering a more flexible approach to mobile fires.

The system is already in production for international customers.

Built to Plug In and Scale

Oshkosh said it leverages advanced manufacturing capabilities to rapidly field these solutions, supporting the army’s need to operate at what it describes as the “speed of relevance.”

“Modernization demands more than new systems. It requires production-ready mobility foundations that integrate quickly and scale responsibly,” said Pat Williams, Oshkosh’s Chief Programs Officer.

“Our commercial manufacturing strength, and experience as a preferred integrator, allow us to deliver advanced capability quickly while maintaining the performance and reliability soldiers deserve.”
