Norwegian firm Cyviz is pushing tactical command forward with a containerized command-and-control (C2) system designed to speed decision-making in complex battlefield environments.
Revealed during Exercise HEIMDALL, the platform merges modular architecture, visualization tools, and control room technology into a single, unified system.
Developed with Nordic Shelter, it leverages standard commercial components to streamline deployment and limit integration risks in mission-critical operations.
Its architecture reportedly supports multi-level classification operations, meets strict electromagnetic security standards, and is cleared for NATO Top Secret data.

“This is the first time we are demonstrating our containerized solution in an operational context,” said Thomas Edberg, vice president of product at Cyviz.
“It’s an important step in the continued development of standardized, secure solutions for defense environments.”
Meeting Demand
The platform addresses growing demand for rapidly deployable C2 systems that maintain strict security standards.
Its presence at HEIMDALL also highlights the company’s role as a Norwegian defense supplier advancing portable solutions for armed forces.
With a history of supplying mission-critical systems, Cyviz is seeing rising demand driven by European defense budgets, regional tensions, and modernization initiatives.
“Our ambition is to be a long‑term technology partner for defense and security organizations with complex operational requirements,” said James Munt, Sales Director at Cyviz.
