Israeli firms SMARTSHOOTER and HevenDrones have announced a strategic partnership to equip logistics drones with advanced robotic weapon systems.
As part of the collaboration, the companies will integrate the cutting-edge SMASH Dragon weapon into HevenDrones’ H100 and Urban drone platforms.
This integration will enable the unmanned aerial systems to conduct combat missions against ground and aerial targets.
It would also ensure that Israel remains at the forefront of military technology innovation.
“As drone conflicts escalate, we know that counter-drone technology will prove critical to the evolving needs of the armed forces,” HevenDrones CEO Bentzion Levinson stated.
“By integrating our drones with SMARTSHOOTER’s fire control systems, we aim to address customer demand for the future needs of remotely-controlled warfare.”
The H100 and Urban drones are designed to address immediate resupply needs, with payload capacities of 30 kilograms (66 pounds) and 10 kilograms (22 pounds), respectively.
The H100 boasts a flight endurance of 55 minutes and a maximum speed of 16 meters (52 feet) per second, while the Urban can remain airborne for 37 minutes at speeds of up to 20 meters (65 feet) per second.
The SMASH Dragon
SMARTSHOOTER’s SMASH Dragon is a versatile weapon designed to be mounted on various unmanned aerial platforms.
It delivers a high hit probability against both static and moving targets, utilizing advanced fire control and target acquisition algorithms.
The system is capable of locking, tracking, and engaging unknown targets, even in unpredictable environments.
Deployed by several NATO countries for counter-drone operations, the SMASH Dragon is now set to provide the H100 and Urban drones with exceptional versatility for both urban settings and open battlefields.
