As drone threats expand across a wider range of radio frequency (RF) bands, Ukrainian firm InLab is rolling out a new electronic warfare (EW) system designed to jam multiple spectrums simultaneously.

Called Stryi, the system features two independent 100-watt transmission channels that can operate in parallel, delivering a combined output of up to 200 watts.

It covers two frequency ranges — 300 to 2,500 megahertz and 2,000 to 6,000 megahertz — enabling the simultaneous jamming of first-person view (FPV) drones operating on various RF configurations, including non-standard bands.

According to the company, Stryi generates its jamming signals using either analog video signals or white noise across selected portions of the spectrum.

Depending on operating conditions, it offers a maximum jamming range of 50 kilometers (31 miles).

Field-Ready Design

Stryi is equipped with a pan-tilt mechanism that provides up to 300 degrees of horizontal coverage and vertical movement from minus 60 degrees to 25 degrees.

The system can operate autonomously for up to 60 hours, or at least 10 hours at maximum power.

Operators control both the core unit and its camera-equipped pan-tilt platform through a web-based interface.

Following official codification, Stryi is now listed on the Brave1 Marketplace and DOT-Chain Defence platforms, making it available for procurement through Ukraine’s “e-points” program.

Each unit reportedly costs 1.1 million hryvnia ($26,000).
