Israel-based SpearUAV has unveiled the latest in its Viper family of loitering munitions designed to protect land vehicles and installations from top-attack weapons.

It is designed to neutralize a variety of aerial threats, such as strike drones and loitering munitions.

The Viper I (Interceptor) features a modular design that allows the integration of third-party sensors and warheads for precise detection, verification, and neutralization of threats.

It is also equipped with advanced artificial intelligence to track and follow moving targets at high speeds.

The Viper I is launched from Spear’s Multi Canister Launcher and can be deployed from various tactical platforms, fixed installations, and by dismounted troops.

The launcher supports rapid deployment of Viper munitions, even from moving platforms.

It is designed to overcome the challenges of size, weight, and power, featuring a customizable configuration varying from one to multiple canisters.

Moreover, it can be integrated with C4I battle management systems for enhanced reconnaissance, target acquisition, and surveillance capabilities.

“Our focus is on leveraging Israeli hi-tech innovation to enhance warfighter capabilities and survivability,” SpearUAV Executive Vice President of Commercial Yiftach Kleinman said.

“VIPER I exemplifies our commitment to delivering effective encapsulated solutions that meet the evolving challenges faced by maneuvering forces.”
