Leonardo is aiming to address one of the modern battlefield’s growing cyber vulnerabilities: invisible attacks that can disrupt military systems in multi-domain operations.

At Eurosatory 2026, the company introduced the Cyber Defense Suite, a federated system that integrates the Global Cybersec Platform, the Tactical Cybersec Platform, and the Cyber Cell.

The Global Cybersec Platform operates from remote command centers, providing intelligence, threat monitoring, and continuous updates.

Designed to federate and aggregate cyber defense capabilities, it functions as both a central control hub for managing cyber activity across multiple systems and an operational bridge between strategic headquarters and assets in the field.

Cyber Cells feed operational data back to the tactical level, creating a two-way information flow across the suite. Knowledge updates move downwards to peripheral units, while telemetry flows upwards to inform higher-level decision-making.

The Cyber Defense Suite is intended to protect armored vehicles, ground assets, naval vessels, avionics mission systems, space infrastructure, and ground control networks.

Meeting Demand

Modern militaries are increasingly operating in multi-domain environments where land, naval, air, and space systems function as a single interconnected network.

While this improves operational effectiveness, it also expands exposure to vulnerabilities linked to unstable communications, legacy systems, and physical constraints.

Armed forces have required advanced cyber capabilities to maintain resilience against an expanding and evolving range of threats.

The Cyber Defence Suite is positioned to meet this need by providing continuous cyber protection for critical military platforms throughout the entire mission lifecycle.
