Indra is rolling out a new expert remote support solution designed to simplify military maintenance and boost the readiness of critical assets.

Developed in partnership with Zerintia Technologies, the system gives field technicians working on land, sea, and air platforms a secure, encrypted 24/7 access to specialists.

Rather than flying these experts to remote sites, units can now connect instantly for guidance, an approach intended to cut costs, speed up repairs, and improve the availability of mission-critical platforms like aircraft and ships.

The tool, compatible with smartphones, tablets, and smart glasses, lets technicians work hands-on while streaming live views and receiving step-by-step instructions.

Real-time multilingual translation ensures seamless collaboration between specialists and technicians, removing language barriers and enabling faster, more accurate repairs.

“The expert remote support system not only speeds up maintenance and removes geographical barriers, but also enables much more organized and efficient work,” said Rafael Molano, Business Development Director at Indra.

“It allows for planned interventions and records all actions taken, providing greater control over the work performed on each system and generating shared intelligence from the collected data.”

Smart Sustainment

With more than 50 years of experience across its own and third-party systems, Indra is now accelerating the digital transformation of defense maintenance.

The new solution complements initiatives such as the Spanish Army’s future Logistics Base and its SILPRE logistics hub.

It also follows the recent debut of IndraMind, a platform designed to automate critical operations and enhance multi-domain mission performance.

By embedding advanced digital tools into sustainment, Indra is positioning itself as a key enabler of higher readiness levels for armed forces.
