Traditional electronic jamming could face a new challenge as Indian firm Bharat Supply & Support Alliance unveils the GOLIATH-200, a one-way attack unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) steered through a fiber-optic cable instead of radio signals.
The vehicle carries an explosive payload of up to 200 kilograms (441 pounds) to strike hardened sites, vehicles, bunkers, and other high-value targets.
While technical details remain limited, available imagery suggests it features a rubber-tracked chassis with four road wheels on each side.
A mast-mounted omnidirectional camera or optical sensor sits above the fiber-optic spool, providing operators with improved situational awareness during missions.

The platform also features a central payload bay with built-in attachment points, enabling it to carry and secure explosive charges or other mission-specific payloads.
Beyond strike missions, the GOLIATH-200 could also support obstacle removal, minefield clearance, urban combat, and infantry breaching operations.
‘Jam-Resistant’
The GOLIATH-200’s defining feature is its Fiber-Optic Guidance (FOG) system, which controls the vehicle through a physical fiber-optic cable that unspools as it advances rather than relying on vulnerable radio-frequency (RF) communications.
Because operator commands and video feeds travel through the cable instead of wireless links, the system is designed to resist GPS spoofing, RF jamming, and signal interception that can disrupt conventional unmanned platforms.
According to the company, the wired connection also provides secure, low-latency communications for precise maneuvering in contested environments.
The GOLIATH-200 has a control range of up to 10 kilometers (6.2 miles), allowing operators to remain at a safer distance from the target.
