US-based DT Research has introduced a new line of rugged military tablets built for demanding defense and field operations.
The four devices — DT361WF, DT361ND, DT381WF, and DT381ND — come in 6-inch (15-centimeter) and 8-inch (20-centimeter) models, running Windows 11 Enterprise or Android 13.
Users can choose military-grade connectors from vendors including Fischer, Glenair, Bernier, and ODU, allowing integration of Ethernet, USB, and power systems.
Processor options include the Intel Core i3-N355 or Qualcomm 6490, aiming for long product lifecycles and reliable field performance.

The tablets feature special night-vision-ready screens with two brightness levels: very dim for use with night vision goggles, or brighter for reading in the dark.
They can run continuously using easily replaceable batteries and are built to withstand tough conditions, including dust, water, shocks, and vibration.
Advanced security features protect sensitive data, meeting strict US government and military standards.
‘Mission-Ready’ Apps
The tablets can run military planning apps for mapping, real-time data sharing, and coordinated operations.
They also support command and control (C2), Blue Force Tracking, reconnaissance, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operations, and even extend to medical support and remote vehicle control.
